Model Railroad Organizations

National Model Railroad Association

The National Model Railroad Association, Inc. (NMRA) advances the global scale model railroading community through education, advocacy, standards, and social interaction.

The NMRA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization founded during its first National Convention over Labor Day weekend in 1935. Its initial goal was to develop standards for scale model railroad equipment, helping equipment work interchangeably among individual modelers, clubs, and others in the hobby.

Dakota Southeastern Division

The Dakota Southeastern Division is the local model railroad club I belong to.

The Dakota Southeastern Division (DSED) is a division of the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) and its Thousand Lakes Region (TLR). Any NMRA member who resides in the eastern portion of South Dakota is automatically a DSED member.

Design Software

Autodesk Fusion

I use Autodesk Fusion to design the buildings, structures, and scenery produced by Dragon Railroad. It allows me to develop an idea into a detailed three-dimensional model and prepare it for the printing process.
